2x PCR TaqNovaHS is a 2x concentrated, ready-to-use PCR master mix which facilitates an easy and rapid PCR reaction set up. The 2x PCR TaqNovaHS solution contains a reaction buffer, magnesium chloride, dNTPs and a thermostable TaqNovaHS DNA polymerase and a highly specific monoclonal antibody, which acts as inhibitor of the polymerization activity. The 2x PCR TaqNovaHS enables easy set-up of a hot start PCR reaction at room temperature. The antibody binds reversibly to the enzyme, inhibiting polymerase activity at ambient temperatures, which prevents extension non-specifically annealed primers and primer-dimers formed at low temperatures during PCR setup. The antibody is released from the polymerase during normal cycling conditions. The polymerase does not require any additional incubation step to activate the enzyme. In order to set-up the PCR reaction, all that needs adding to the master mix is the template, the primer set and water. This convenient 2x PCR TaqNovaHS master mix reduces the time required to set-up PCR reactions and decreases the possibility of contamination, particularly when preparing large numbers of reactions.
